Fastest and pettiest way to make me angry: pandering in media.

Big guys like Disney and Netflix tend to be the shining stars of this sin. No matter which side they're pandering to or say they're siding with, all parties involved get livid over the same media for opposite reasons: "You're siding with them!" "They're slandering us!" That sort of thing. And either way, they're just profiting off it all.

I get genuine headaches from how mad this gets me.

Quick clarification: I'm not talking about earnest and genuine portrayals or depictions of something that's often been capitalized as "pandering." I think we need more of that honesty and willingness in stories. What I'm talking about is when the creators of something seem to just throw some undercooked and contrived message to be like "See? We're on your side! Now, give us your money." The creators draw attention to their minimal effort and say they deserve some reward for being "on the correct side," and then pin it on the "wrong" side when it doesn't do well ("We've been review-bombed and attacked for our lazy shoehorning of a message! How despicable!").

Contemplating whether or not to add in the lines in the tiling of the roof. What do you think, should, is the roof looking a bit too flat atm?
