UPDATE: If you find that the site is inaccessible, please try again in a few minutes or hours as I will be switching my web server host.

My advice, as a 5-year server owner, is to give more details about your server. Show some pictures of how your server looks, and hell, give it a name!

Create a website too, players these days like the idea of a Forums for servers. I recommend Enjin as the free plan is perfect for new servers and for the future invest in a VPS for your website.

These are things that I wish I would have done better when I started out owning a server. There's a lot more to owning a server than just adding staff and telling people what to do. I recommend learning all you can from anywhere you can (and make sure it's accurate and credible).

That's all I have to say for you! Good luck on your new (or old, whichever comes first) adventures!

This is actually a sweet idea. Never seen something like this before. Well, with this much intention at least.

I'd really be interested in this if I can. I'm a Streamer, but I'd rather be a Manager/Customer Support. I have experience with Customer Service Related things. It's something us Server Owners or Website Managers have to do most of the time. Taking requests, answering questions, and making the whole thing worthwhile and better.

If you would like to talk more on the matter, add me on Skype: thehumanslayer12

    Thanks!

Please be patient. The owner is quite busy most of the time.

thehumanslayer12Viruses? Why I haven't had one since I learned how to manually remove them. I use a program called SpyHunter 4 (Not paid), it basically scans your Memory, Registry and other important things and tells you a list of known components to conflict with daily use of your PC. Do not buy the program, as it is not needed. Just your windows regedit to manually remove the virus.

My Worst one was BoBrower, can't believe I had that. Over 400 infected Registry files, it also displayed pop-up ads, was annoying, finally got rid of the thing.

I'll post a screen shot later.

Only 400? Pfff I had around 7000+ viruses on my old pc while I didn't know what im doing and no wonder I was lagging like hell and CPU usage was always over 90%.

Of course I am smart what Viruses are now, before on my VERY 19th century PC I had somewhere over 99999999999999999999+ viruses, I was surprised that Minecraft still played. Up until the thing blew up (PSU exploded out of no where)

thehumanslayer12Just your windows regedit to manually remove the virus.

Be very careful in those actions. Regedits can be very harmful unless you know exactly what you're doing.
This is also a word of advice to anyone who wants to attempt to remove viruses this way. It's usually not necessary and alternatives should be sought first.

That's, not entirely true. Delete something vital, of course, something WILL go wrong. That's why SpyHunter gives you the EXACT location of said Registry. But yeah, I also recommend looking at tutorials before manually doing so, in my opinion using third party applications to get rid of them for you is a waste of time (and money) as some of these applications don't even check the Registry, and when they do mostly all of them don't detect these applications.
