That'd be cool, it would make maps that people made more accessible for people meaning someone's creation will be more known. But one thing I don't like is how Mojang are taking people's mods (with consent or not, I don't know) making someone's mod useless.

They're just like any other member, so I just treat them on how the react to things, not what they've made. They could be level 100 for all I care, but if they're not friendly or don't have some bit of intelligence well I won't treat them so great..

Well, there's a difference between asking a pestering. Obviously, don't ask for admin the second you join. If the server has a ranking system, go up the ranks til you can't get any higher. Make sure you know the owner and he trusts you.
The most difficult thing for an owner is having to deal with the server, so your job is to administrate the server (See what I did thar)(Pun wasn't actually intended) and make his/her life a lot easier.

In response to your points.

1.That's opinion, not fact.
2. I disagree. The trolling has gotten a lot worse more recently due to little kids
trying to troll and the other little kids feeding the trolls
3. The idea of an 18+ lounge does not necessarily mean people would talk about
adult content, it really means more of a place where immature, moronic kids
can't dumb the place down and restrict the more mature older members from
discussing things. Also, where did you get the idea people would talk about
porn? That's just disturbing man...

The concept of money doesn't seem to come into your head does it? Not enough people are going to donate to keep the server running, and what could possible end up happening is you pay to join, or you pay to join the forums. That's just a possibility though
