Something that’s helped me, weirdly enough, is being ok with the fact that I’m upset.
If you’re tired, then rest. If you’re sad, then cry. If you’re frustrated, then don’t bottle it up; let it out however you need to, so long as everyone (including yourself) is safe when you do it. When your body is crying out, it’s good to at least listen to what it’s trying to say.
If you’re bored, what do you enjoy doing? Try doing something unusual with it. For me, I take walks in my neighborhood, going down roads and lanes I haven’t really visited that often; I make my path completely unpredictable so as to surprise myself. There’s something refreshing about seeing the same things from new angles.

What I usually do is I look up an easy art or painting tutorial on YouTube or something, and try using the things around me (Soaking colored construction paper in water and using it as watercolor, using clay to add dimension) and just completely stylize it in a goofy kind of way :)

I agree! I love to find things that are not discouraging others but building them up as you say! It gives hope to those who are hopeless <3
