Bay horse has red hairs on the body, giving it a a dark brown to redish
chestnut to the main body, while the points (mane, tail and legs)
remain black. They too have dark skin abd brown eyes.
The
red hairs may vary in shades, some times lighter, being confused with a
dark buckskin, or sometimes so dark it is easily confused with black or
producing a "brown" or seal brown horse.
