This is called "bamboo" because the original palette was taken from Minecraft's bamboo.

Is a green axolotl fantasy, or science fiction? It is technically possible, and wild axolotls are green, just not this vibrant green, nor smooth. The way that axolotl and salamander skin pigment goes means that usually they either have it in spots or splotches, or they don't have it at all like in leucistic and albino ones. This is based on an old skin I made, but I have fixed all of the issues whilst leaving the original for comparison.

Vanillatweaks made a very similar skin for thier 1.18 update. Thiers is more pale, but every bit as high quality. That's why I like this one more. Thier smiley pack however, is badly outdated. They need to fix the wild axolotl in it. If it bothers you until they do eventually fix it, I have a texture that can be applied over it to fix it:

I accidentally added this to my cancelled axolotl skins collection, then I realized: this was a cancelled skin. They cancelled the green axolotl really hard, almost as hard as the firefly. I must say, I am really proud of this skin, and I think it does deserve to be in this collection.
