When it gets too cold, a slime's cube turns icy, and then gets covered in snow. They then start hopping around to generate more heat. Also known as snow-hermits, they carve a little hole on their snowy covering so they can see. They are mostly solitary, but will form groups if needed. Yes, the young and adults are hostile, while the babies aren't.
