Hello all this is a mod i made fairly quickly but i believe it adds something to the game that was very needed. It makes a craftable recipe for diamonds by using coal! That's right it only takes 72 coal to make a single diamond making it worth while to get that coal. It adds two new items the coal ball and the artificial diamond(which can be used to make all the things regular diamond can). So please feel free to download it and give me some feedback the crafting recipes for all the items will be given down below.

I still think that 4 or 8 charcoal surrounding one stone would be a good coal recipe. if it's 4 charcoal, you need 288 charcoal (4.5 stacks) and if it's 8 charcoal then you need 576 charcoal (9 stacks) to make a diamond.

With this recipe, diamonds suddenly become renewable.

one question, what is the point of making a new item for the diamonds if they have the same use as regular diamonds? I would just make the recipe make a regular diamond, and put obsidian in the blank part of it. another suggestion is making a recipe to make coal out of four charcoal.

Dude this was my first mod. The point was that I wanted to see how this mod works, I got a lot of feedback from people and so I did what they told me to do. It was mainly a mod just to have fun. I made the artificial diamond because it would be too cheap if it gave you regular diamonds, the a diamonds can only be used for tools and armor.

I didn't mean to anger you or anything, I really like the idea of making diamond from coal. it's just sensical. those were just suggestions, not demands. (MAEK IT CRAFT 64 DOMINDS OR i'LL SUE! lol) also, I see the point of the new item, but along that logic, mismatching recipes doesn't seem very balanced. if you only found 2 diamonds in a vein and have a stack of coal, you can just make a diamond pick.

(P.S. I favourited this mod. :3)

I removed the mix matching the recipes long ago, because it would be too cheap and it would be a pain to code.
