A mod I made (my first mod! :D) that adds new items and a new set of tools.

Ever wonder how using blocks that are 1x1x1 meters in a crafting grid makes items the same size, even when they are jumbled together? This mod makes dirt and a diamond super compact and making it even more compact will make Dark Matter, a substance that has been proven safe, even thought little is known. Tools made from this Dark Matter will last longer than diamond but will be no better than diamond in the speed of mining.

*Note: The Dark Matter Axe shows up as Unnamed and I will try to fix it as soon as possible.*

Edit: Haven't been playing Minecraft and almost completely forgot about this mod I made... Sorry Guys :( I won't be updating this anytime soon so if you stumble upon it, don't bother trying to use it, unless somehow it magically works for recent versions.

The other materials are used to make the Dark Matter which is used in tools stronger than diamond (4xxx uses). Other than that, they have no other use. :|

Dark matter? Already done look up "Equivalent Exchange" and I am not saying this is bad i'm jst saying it's been done. It's a cool idea I gotta admit. It's just been done.

The first slide shows super compact material (2rd slide for crafting) and the 2nd slide shows compact material (3rd slide for crafting).

Thanks! And I will try to look into ModLoader mods. Just thought that it would be easier to make it compatible with many ModLoader mods like TMI by not having ModLoader involved.

The idea:

Let's say you make a mod that adds a recipe. This means that you edit CraftingManager.java and then post the recompiled version. Then another person makes a separate mod that also adds a recipe. Then let's say a third person installs your mod and then their mod. Your mod won't work anymore because their version of CraftingManager replaced your version! What you do instead is, you make a new file called "mod_something.java". ModLoader automatically runs any classfile that starts with "mod_". Then you tell ModLoader to add the recipe instead of actually changing the file. Voila! Compatibility issue solved!

I got it to work. Turns out my files got messed up and I renamed them incorrectly, so I was using the wrong ModLoader. I've already started on a new mod that will take a while because of the size and my little knowledge. :|
