This mod adds a new, tricky mod to the minecraft game. They look like villagers, and act like villagers...until you A)Attmept trade
B) Hit
C) Come in contact with
Then, their inner demon comes out. You're ready to battle to the death with a HARD mob. This mod is NOT for the faint of heart. The mob destroys the landscape spawning lava everywhere. It's invincible to bow fire like the enderman, luckily for you their spawn rate is very low. They also have a whopping 100 health! Getting into a fight with this mob is BAD NEWS FOR YOU, once provoked they teleport to the player, and if the player damages the mob to 50 health or lower it teleports the player to it! It can go through any block...mostly by breaking them...and sometimes stalks a player. There's a small chance that before it dies it will teleport far away, if this happens it will stalk you and slowly come closer, and closer. Once ready to attack C411 (the music disc) will begin to play, NOTHING can stop it's path so you'd better be prepared. When killed it can drop ANYTHING. The chance of dropping emeralds is 30% and other more valuable items is about 50% There's a 20% chance it will drop a non-valuable item. Also it EXPLODES upon death, it's a weak explosion (less than that of a creeper) so no worries, but your items may be whipped away in the explosion! When hit it has a chance of spawning lava, if it falls more than 4 blocks it will spawn water under itself and teleport back to the player. When struck by lightning it makes a MASSIVE explosion, and smite weapons trigger the same explosion.
Things to note: Once provoked the texture changes, it looks pretty creepy. It's LOUD...watch your sound level. This mod is SCARY, I'm not paying for new underwear when you need it!
Bugs to note:
Missing Texture
Normal Texture after provoked
Teleportation/Bow avoiding not working
Mob drops glitch and it mass drops items.
No drops at all.
Weird particles showing before provoked
Also some people have mentioned certain concerns of theirs. Here is a copy of the comment I sent to them, this hopefully answers some of your questions as well:
"First thing, yes there are normal villagers still, two there are small effects to set them apart. For one they watch you from a distance, unlike normal testificates they stare at you from about 25 blocks away. Two if you push them (considering that doesn't provoke them) you'll see particles. And lastly if you get close enough you can hear sounds.
Secondly, I was just working on setting up something for the throwing of blocks. Something along the lines of a demon! If you've played Voltz the modpack, you've likely seen the animations for blocks flying in the air. I plan to integrate something similar for block throwing. Ã
A small bug that I keep getting is that their textures are bugged out, and that they only place TNT and just explode....not at all following the parameters I set. I think I had a small bug in the code I'm looking into it now. I'm glad you find this mod to be so great! I do plan to add custom items and structures to the mod soon. Sort of like an abandoned village, or ghost town. And maybe classes of the demons/ghosts/souls (whatever you wanna call them) Like the lost miner, and the spawn stalker, and the drowned sailor...the possibilities are endless!
And to answer your last question when underground, for say, or in a house, when in the rare chance you get one stalking you they can detect you through only 4 blocks. Glass doesn't count, it's the normal 25, so for example you're being stalked from outside your windowless house....unless your walls are four blocks thick it's waiting. Now do note, the chance of this happening is only 5%....5% is nothing considering how rarely they spawn in a village... It's the percent of a village spawning plus the chance of these guys...pretty rare."
If you're looking for a completed mod without bugs just wait until the mod is out of Beta (Maybe fall of this year, maybe later) There will be bugs, features will be missing, the mod won't be perfect. And at this point my priority is getting everything in a working condition so the mod is playable, aesthetics comes later. Thanks for all the support, no negative comments yet!!!! YOU GUYS ROCK!
