This basically does the same thing as my first EZOres mod, however this version only makes ores drop 3 of there respective item.

So does this just make it when I mine coal, iron, gold, diamonds, etc it will drop 3 of that ore?

Yeah, all ores drop 3 of whatever they normally drop.

What do you mean "Latest textures"? I haven't really started anything that adds something to the game. If you mean the 1.8 textures, then all you have to do is go into your mine craft.jar and copy them.
