This mod is mainly about a parallel world, the “Ghost Dimension”! Where it's your job to explore this world and find out as much as possible about it!
Ghostlands is a slightly scary indie mod for Minecraft.
This mod is mainly about a parallel world, the “Ghost Dimension”! Where it's your job to explore this world and find out as much as possible about it!
The mod is currently in its early stages, which means there isn't that much to discover yet! But that will change in the future!
Also, this is an indie mod, which means that this mod will not always get regular updates because it is only being developed on the side!
By the way, the Fabric version is coming soon!
Features
- 2 biomes that can be found in the overworld, these are the "Ghostland" biome and the "Ghostjungle" biome
- In these two biomes the ambience is very dark, and the color of plants (etc.) is magenta. One also plays the "Lavandia Theme" as ambient music in both biomes
- A new type of wood can also be found in these biomes, the "Cursed Wood" which can also be crafted into planks, stairs, slabs, etc.
- Ghosts that are not dangerous spawn in these biomes at night and cannot be killed naturally. These can only be killed with potions and leave behind one of 7 different crystals.
- The different Crystals are:
- Ruby
- Amber
- Sapphire
- Jade
- Amethyst
- Topaz
- Jasper
Which can be left behind by a ghost. There is also “Opal” which can be found in a small structure in both biomes!
- You can also find “Cursed Bricks” in the small structures! Also, one of the bricks is corrupted, it can drop a "Cursed Shard" with a small probability, this can transform various "Deepslate Bricks" into "Corrupted Bricks"!
- Now you can craft all 8 Crystals together with a Warden Heart (can be left behind by a Warden) to get a “Ghost Crystal”!
- With this "Ghost Crystal" you can light the portal in an "Ancient City" to get to the "Ghost Dimension"!
- The "Ghost Dimension" currently only consists of the aforementioned biomes!
