So the other day I was thinking to myself: "Hey, it'd be great to have apple trees in my 1.12.2 modpack! Alot of my mods require the use of apples in crafting recepies, but there's no decent way to get them!" I thought It'd be easy to just find a mod online to do the job for me, but to my suprise, there are no generic apple tree mods out there for 1.12.2! It's unbelievable! So I hopped on my computer and started working. After about seven hours, I finally created this! Behold! Skraby's Apple Tree mod!

The mod itself is very simple. All it adds into the game is an apple tree. You can craft the sapling for it using an oak sapling and an apple in a shapeless recipe. Plant it in some dirt or grass, and it will grow after a little while into an apple tree! (note that the tree requires a 5x5x6 (XZY) space to grow) The logs and leaves of the tree use the vanilla 1.14 oak textures made by Jappa. You can turn the Apple Logs into 2 Oak Planks. This is such that the apple tree is not used for gathering wood, but for food. The Apple tree grows FOUR APPLES that you can harvest with an axe (or your hands). Then you can chop down the leaves to get more oak saplings for future apple trees. Bone meal currently does not work on the apple tree, to prevent apple spam. I may implement this feature into the mod at some point, but for now the trees grow fast enough to not require bone meal for efficient farming.
