Finally a choice for what color sky you want to have in Minecraft! You can choose from a dozen colors (including original, which will reset the mod), and there may be more to come! Follow the install instructions and have fun!


Instructions:

1. Extract the zip folder (the one you downloaded) to a new folder you create on the desktop
2. Navigate to the minecraft.jar (remember %appdata%)
3. Open the jar archive and drag and drop the CLASS file from your chosen color in the zip folder to the minecraft.jar
4. Delete the META-INF folder
5. You can change colors by redoing steps 2 and 3 with another color
6. Enjoy!

very cool idea. I would like to see Rings around the planet instead of a moon (rings like sattern)

or a nebula or a Ring World type thing but the last one would be Very hard.

I see, I'm sure its not hard to add another color when you got over the hump of having the ability to change the color. So why not add it anyway :D

Finding out where the code was for sky color was the hardest part of the process. Then i just coded in something different and did that eleven more times.

did you by chance find the class file? or did you figure out how to overwrite it?

my reason for asking is that im working on a texture pack, and was trying to find how to change the sky in it.

Thanks! And yeah i only thought of it because at one point i wanted to make a project with an orange sky, then i thought it would be a great idea to make a mod for it. Then it expanded into this!
