You need to create a Project, to be able to create a project you need to allow novaskin store files on your computer when prompted by the the browser.

Edit a resource (wolf skin for example) and save to your project.
Go to your project and click zip and save the zip file.
place the resourcepack zip file on the minecraft folder as you normally would do with other resource packs.

There will be a easier button to apply textures in the future, but I need to get a java applet code signed before it happens.

You have a lot of bugs! Fix them! For example: almost always when I just click, the skin gets into a random position. I would also love if you would have a button which allows you to set "on/off" the thing so when you texture a hand or a leg to "do/don't " copy it to the other one, which will allow us to, for example, to make a cyborg!
