The Challenges is my 3rd Minecraft map that I have ever published, and it took an 2 entire years to finish, from December 1, 2016, until today - November 27, 2018. The map itself shouldn't take that long -- however, due to real life circumstances, I have had several hiatuses of building this map and eventually, Minecraft as a whole between these two years. However, despite all of these hardships, I am very delighted to announce that my new map, The Challenges, is officially finished.
Important note before you continue to read:
A new website for my projects and especially for this map will be set up very soon, and any information on new levels will be posted on that website (only the Classic challenge set will remain in this post!)

Important Notes on BETA Version
Because this map is still in beta yet, there will be possible bugs and inaccurate difficulty diagnosis. If you have any suggestions on changing a particular challenge/level or want to report bugs (cheats, impossible jumps, etc) please let me know either through PMing me or through leaving me a comment in this post, thank you! (Also, many structures such as challenge 29 is still in a form of "placeholder", that is there will be further upgrades of the said-structure.)
Now, what is "The Challenges" anyways?
Well, it is a Minecraft parkour map that is recommended to be played in 1.13 or higher. It contained a diverse amount of themes and jumps of all difficulties, ranging from very easy challenges all the way up to barely possible challenges - and I am sure that, within these 30 challenges, there will be at least one that you will enjoy!
Ok, so what is the concept of "The Challenges"?
The map itself is "finished" - or the core part of it. The parkour challenges in my map are all bundled up into sets, and the main set of this map is called "Classic", which is finished just today. This means that, during any possible future updates, not only will there be difficulty adjustments and bugfixes, there will also be potentially new sets or challenges of new sets being added to the game. These new sets can follow a particular theme, and they will be mostly built by myself, however any community collaborations are welcomed.
To play these sets, you will either need to use the Emeralds that you've obtained from finishing challenges to unlock, or unlock them for free by finding a hidden key to unlock them. The first and core set of this map, "Classic", is unlocked right away.
Any Rules on this map?
Well, yes and no. I really hope that you can do EVERYTHING legitimately. However, if you are really, REALLY going out of your way to cheat... I can't really stop you. At the end of the day, we play this game so we can have fun, right? (Speedrun is different, though - you have to do them legitimately!)
Speedrunning
Although the sprint challenges are also called speedrun challenges, actual speedruns are WELCOMED in any challenge of your desire. Doing the speedrun for the entire map is NOT recommended, but if you desire to, go ahead.
Your speedrun records will be currently placed in this forum, however with enough records I will try to setup a speedrunning page for this map.
**BETA NOTICE: Also, speedrunning even in Beta is encouraged. PM me proof (most commonly in the format of a video) or you can also comment it! Challenge revamps WILL NOT erase your speedrun record!
Now you have explained this much details... Can we talk about the content?
Of course. There are two types (so far) of challenges in this parkour map - Normal challenges (with checkpoints), and sprint/speedrun challenges (without checkpoints).
Now, all of these challenges are color-coded. There are 8 colors in total, 7 of them act as difficulty range and the other stands for "sprint challenge".
The Difficulties:
White: Extremely Easy Difficulty: 0.1 - 1.0
Lime: Easy Difficulty: 1.1 - 4.0
Blue: Mediocre Difficulty: 4.1 - 5.4
Red: Hard Difficulty: 5.5 - 6.7
Purple: Extremely Hard Difficulty: 6.8 - 8.0
Black: Overwhelmingly Hard Difficulty: 8.1 - 10.0
Brown: Barely Possible Difficulty: 10.1+
