Welcome to my latest "idea", i have been thinking for a while about making a survival challenge map for me to play on, one gets a little tired of all the skyblock and normal survival maps, so this one is going in the opposite direction of skyblock if we talk about terrain because this map takes advantage of the buffet world option to make a cave overworld.

i made this map to play on it myself, but once done, i doesnt hurt to share the empty world if anyone wants to also try to survive here, but i will warn you about the things that this world has.

first i will talk about the rules, there are only two, there is actually nothing stopping anyone from breaking them, i could do it using commands but commands running all the time only lags the game so simply dont do it

rule1: dont build anything on top of the bedrock ceiling.
rule2: no nether portals, no nether, stay in the overworld the entire time.

there is a chance that one could get stuck on the bedrock ceiling, there is a teleporter at 0,0 that takes you back to sheol.

second, there is no natural regeneration, also, there is no weather or day/night cycle, the entire world is inside a cave with the dark forest biome selected (mainly because the dark grass fits the theme), there are not structures (except the occasional dungeon), the world is also set on hard. there is a good chance that you are going to die if you try this world.

but not everything is lost, using the new 1.13 feature that lets players make their own recipes you have a chance, there are a lot of them, i have use the command that unlocks all to have them unlocked in the book, chances are that if someone tries the map the same is not going to happen to them, if that is the case, use /recipe command on yourself to do it. there are also some furnace recipes, mainly to turn stone into gravel and gravel into sand by smelting them. almost anything in a normal survival game can be made on this world, and also things that cant be made normally (like spawners)

when you start, there is a shulker box in front of you with everything that you need to survive, the first image shows the contents. good luck.


i will also add some tips of what to do at the start so that you dont die as easily:

1: there is a recipe to make blaze rods, i would advise to use it to have access to potions soon enough

2: plant your melon seed soon, you are going to need melons to make healing potions

3: you have a nether star, but you have to use it wisely, there is a recipe to make a spawner with them, and you also can change the spawner by right-clicking with mob spaw eggs on it, the wise thing to do is to make that first spawner so that it spawns wither skeletons, and by farming them, you will obtain the resources needed to make other spawners.

4:even if you can craft spawners, they are not cheap and you cant move them once placed, so be careful when placing one.
