Hello everybody CaptainSteve here today, I will be showcasing you around my brand new Boeing P-8 Poseidon.

The Boeing P-8 Poseidon I will be showcasing is an American maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft developed and produced by the Boeing Defense, Space & Security, and derived from the civilian Boeing 737-800. It was developed for the United States Navy (USN).

The P-8 Poseidon operates in the anti-submarine warfare (ASW), anti-surface warfare (ASUW), and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) roles. It can or is armed with torpedoes, Harpoon anti-ship missiles, and other weapons, it can drop and monitor sonobuoys, and can operate in conjunction with other assets, including the Northrop Grumman MQ-4C Triton maritime surveillance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).

The P-8 Poseidon is operated by the United States Navy, the Indian Navy, the Royal Australian Air Force, the United Kingdom's Royal Air Force, the Royal Norwegian Air Force and the Royal New Zealand Air Force. It has also been ordered by the Republic of Korea Navy, and the German Navy. As of 16 May 2023, 160 P-8 Poseidon have been delivered.

The P-8 Poseidon uses 2 CFM56-5B, mounted on its wings and has a thrust about 27,000 pound per engine.

The Boeing P-8 Poseidon was have it's first flight on April 2009, it was then introduced in 2013, the max speed is 907 km/h.
