The RRF 4400 series are NS 1600 class locomotives, these locomotives were ordered by NS in 1978, and delivered in 1981 to 1983, they are essentialy modified SNCF BB7200 locomotives.
They are also the replacement for the older NS 1500 and 1000 class, in their time they were the most powerful and efficient locomotives that NS had, and currently still has the number 2 spot on that list.
The class 1600 weighs 83 tonnes, has a power output of 4540 kilowatts and the maximum speed is 180 to 200 km/h.
(I have no idea why the text is surrounded by gray and i also don't know how to fix it)
