This is a mineshaft I dug out on my friend's server to try and find diamond, but it ended up taking more time to dig it out then it would have been to go looking for them; however it is a lot safer for all of the lighting.

I remember my very first Minecraft world... so long ago when Beta was released... I dug enormous quarries without a clue what I was looking for. I distinctly remember my first one was 33x33 and I got got almost 40 deep into the ground (Started a few meters above sea level) and then I died and lost what I thought was a ton of iron, so I deleted the world lol.

My second quarry was 50x50 xD
