Welcome, This Is My Largest Project And I am Pretty Confident To Say One Of The Most Detailed Minecraft Maps. It Took Two Years To Build. And I am glad to say that I finally have completed it.
From 2020 to 2022, "8/19/2022." Of course that was intermittent due to the stressful covid life but, I definitely have grown with this project and learned a lot on the way.
I am giving this out for free without any of the patreon pay walls. because I remember when I was younger, and I would see a mod or a map
that had something from a movie that I would have loved to play but, unfortunately I never got the opportunity to do so. That is why when I started this project, I made a vow to not make this a pay wall restricted map because I wanted to make sure that anyone who was a fan of Ghostbusters I can atleast put a smile on all of their faces by bringing such a real to life, 1:1 scale model of The Ghostbusters Building.
If anyone has studied the "buildings" you would know that there is an interior building which was used to film inside, located in Los Angeles, California known as "Fire Station No. 23" and, there is an exterior building which is more commonly known as "Hook & Ladder 8" which the address is "14 N Moore St, New York, NY 10013".
I merged those two buildings both seemlessly and I made a wonderful Ghostbusters inspired headquarters. This definitely is the best project I released yet. I added The Black Power flag was because I noticed in one of the photos I was using to reference the building, there were
two flagpoles typically to represent fallen firefighters who had died honorably in the line of duty. I also know with all of the racism going on
through these past few years from when I was building this, I couldn't help but notice all of the injustice going on against innocent black people around America, including the wrongful killing of Breonna Taylor to another wrongful killing of Jacob Blake and the most uproaring case which of course is, George Floyd. I thought it was only right to represent the oppression of black people throughout the years by lifting the BLM flag up.
As someone from a mainly mixed German and African American background, I feel it is important to talk more about the oppression of racism and give people a new point of view on something they may not have heard both sides of or much about. I hope all of you will enjoy this map as much as I did making it and can also understand my personal choices for the project I have felt so proud about making; I do hope to make a few Ghostbuster kids happy in the process, on a map they would never have been introduced to if it was not complimentary to upload. Also, this map does have a few suprise Easter eggs that I hope you will enjoy and appreciate. I have a large family background within the fire department and I hope I have made everyone all proud in there. I value the good firefighters that we have working around the Tristate area especially in New York. I am glad I had the ability to be able to understand the city as well as I do based on my background, and I hope I can give some of you West Coast folk a bit of what the East Coast is like.
