Hey guys, I thought this was a good time to show you what I am building right now. It is aaaann.....

Infinite expandable, infinite programable chars typewriter. (No really, It's limited by the height limit and my 6GB RAM).

Specifications:
-A total of 2800 pixels, 2x2 blocks per pixel.
-80 spaces for characters or random programmable pictures, 5x7 pixel size per space.
-Infinite stackable design.
-The example picture shows a 20 wide, 4 tall screen. You need multiple people or a plugin to keep the
redstone loaded.
-One stackable cell is 7x5 pixels, 17 blocks high and 11 blocks wide (It could even be stacked 10 wide, but
I wanted a line of wool between the displays).
-Every cell is 92 blocks long, and comes with a cell select line on the back.
-38 characters, A-Z, 0-9, dot, comma and clear.
-Write ALL with the same selected character (This causes so much lagg ^^).
-Automatic switch to next cell after you've set a char. (Using a device I've uploaded >>here<<)
-Manually set the automatic counter to any cell
-The setting time with automatic switching is 1 second per character (the delay of a button).
-The cells itself are totally covered by their own display, due to their relatively small size.

Remember this thing isn't done yet, I am still thinking of ways how to bus the input to a more user-friendly layout (Perhaps with signal strength, without the new update).

If you have suggestions, questions, ideas or anything else: Feel free to post a comment and I will get back to you.
I would also like to know what people think of my Minecraft projects, if you have an opinion and you wish to share it, it's more than welcome. :)

Update #3 : by Pieter12345 04/09/2013 9:24:13 pmApr 9th, 2013

It does work better in 1.5.1! 20 repeaters actually take 20 ticks now, instead of unsyncing =)
I'm not sure if I want to add more to it. It does have a selector, A-Z, 0-9, dot, comma selection, full screen reset and setable start point for writing.
Bad thing of 1.5.1 is, I don't have a plugin to keep it loaded anymore, so it won't load by the minecraft chunk load limit.

Me too! And i will post it when I am! :)
How would you like to see the inputs? (The characters you set on the screen) I don't know how I want to do it yet :p (Also see my update log).
If you can think of something nice, I might use your idea ^^
Happy Minecrafting! :)
