Hi, I assume you were trying to download the map when you only got a worldpainter file with the download. I fixed it a while ago so if you want to you can just download it now and then world folder that is included to your saves folder.

Hey i assume this is a worldpainter map?
ive made a 11k x 11k map. and want to convert my map with 1.13 features because its still in 1.12
How did you add the 1.13 features?

Here's a link to a Reddit thread where you can download a version of world painter that works, I think it'll be like its own program and won't affect your current installation, not sure though:

Make sure to use the 1.13 map format (or whatever it was called now again) when exporting the world.

And also, you need to use the populate layer. populate the entire ocean and paint your desired ocean biomes wherever you want. And keep in mind this method requires you to have your ocean level at the default height. If you don't you can raise the entire map by the number of blocks you need to reach it (assuming you've set the ocean level a little lower). You might end up with mountains with flat tops though if they're like 240 blocks high.

Out of curiosity what is the center point of the map? wanted to limit the edges and explore without going past what you created
