A New World
Or rather, an old one reborn.
A New World is an open world, post-apocalyptic adventure map I have started designing, in which the protagonist, Mark, is swept into a huge, crazy world of mysterious secrets, deadly creatures, amazing items, and harsh survival. He must fight for his life as he tries to uncover the secrets surrounding the mysterious organisation known only as HIVE, and then fight harder as they try to kill him for knowing.
Oh yeah, and figure out why the hell he keeps getting radio messages when he doesn't even have a radio.
This is currently just an outline of the mechanics, and much, much more will be added to this at the end of construction. You can still try it, but there's barely anything there. If you don't spawn on a huge mountain covered in snow, /tp to -181.5 175 2.5 and set gamemode to adventure (/gamemode 2). I REALLY need to get that going automatically.
Also, if you are going to test it, use the Last Days RP - get it here, and version 1.8.x.
NOTE: I really need someone with a good knowledge of redstone to help me with this. I have no idea how to use it, and need someone who knows commands such as /testfor (mainly for players), /tell (without the @p whispers thing), and knows how to connect them both (e.g. if the player is at x 242 y 47 z -39, a message will read, "Damn, where are my shoes?")

I'm reasonable with command blocks, (Check my latest map. Dont mind the screwed up blue spawner, I just forgot to code a block :)) I would love to help. I know the basics of testfor to.
