Sorry about the long delay between my projects, school's got the best of me at the moment due to exams and projects. Regardless however I present to you a new project! The Defensive Type Capital Ship, the Xephyr Class.
The story behind this all started one day after I was inspired by the airship of an Mithrintia Moderator Mr_Roddan. It was to be my first ship/airship build and I was pretty pumped. I had originally meant to build an angelic airship, however after rework after rework the angelic style slowly developed into a hybrid of both steampunk as well as angelic styles. Since I have never seen anyone to build in this style so far I have taken the privilege to name this style as the Angel-Punk style. After some contemplation as well as reviews by my fellow peers and the suggestion of iRapp, I have also decided to upload this as an Angel Block Society Application as I have been aspiring to get into this. Well with the introductions done, lets jump right into the lore.

Lore:
With the construction of the City of Eden underway, many had thought to believe that they would be able to finish their city without any problems. This of course was too good to be true. During the 3rd week of construction the site was attacked and raided by air bandits. The air bandits wanted one thing and one thing only, the valuable building materials used in the construction of the city such as gold and iron. Week after week the under progress city came under siege, until finally Eden's airship command pushed out its newest prototype airship, The Xephyr Class Capital Ship. The Xephyr class was a ship meant to defend key locations with heavy firepower and the ability to take and return a beating. Through forced peace and aggression Eden was finally able to fend off and drive back the invading air bandits. However as time went on, the city noticed that it was lacking the abundance of materials that it once had to complete the city. Soon the city started scavenging parts of the bandit airships in order to further expand their military strength and retake what was rightfully theirs. Eden had once again entered into a time of war.

Armaments:
Trading firepower for mobility, the Xephyr class is armed with an incredible broadside of 42 light cannons and 28 heavy cannons per side. With an addition of 3 main rail-cannons, the Xephyr class boasts a total of 143 cannons in order to take the fight to the enemy. The Rail-Cannons work by magnetic energy in the form of power cells. As the cells charge inmense amounts of heat and steam are released through ports in the back of the cannon. The strength of the cannon will depend on how many cells are charged, with stronger shot taking a longer time to charge than a weaker shot.
