In 11:35pm in the freezing water of the Atlantic ocean, the lookouts of the RMS Titanic spot an large object 1500 feet away from the bow of the ship. An Iceberg. The engine workers and crew members tried to turn or stop the ship, but her triple screws or propellers were too clumsy and less manoeuvrable. But on 11:40pm, the Titanic had scraped through the iceberg, flooding 6 compartments and perishing the ones in there. This causes the ship to start sinking. The passengers where told to get onto lifeboats starting with the women and children. But the amount of lifeboats wasn't enough to fit more than 2000 passengers. Only 20. The designers removed the minimum lifeboats just over to get a better view and look of the ship. As chaos occurred, the band played their violins and instruments for the last time. Hundreds of people fell into the freezing water and on 2:17am, the electricity went out and the Titanic split in twos. As the stern took it's last dive and by 2:20am, the entire luxury liner, the liner that was considered "unsinkable", was gone. 1517 lives where lost while only 710 survived.
