This small spot of Roman civilization is bustling with activity. There is a vibrant market selling all sorts of goods and a small temple to Neptune (Roman god of the sea, his Greek equivalent is Poseidon). A low stable building can accommodate the steeds of those who wish to continue their journey by ship. The large warehouse can store resources, while a heavy crane is ready to unload incoming ships. In the background, a couple of insulae (Roman apartment blocks) rise over the scene, while a military trireme ensures safety.

I had a lot of fun building this project. It was both my first time building something that featured such an amount of detail, but also filled a 101x101 plot. It was also my first experiment with glass being used as water. I'm really happy with this project and I hope that it inspires you to an amazing build of your own.

CHALLENGE: I hid 11 signs around the plot! Can you find them all? (One of them is extremely hard!)
