When lots of freight need hauling, but gigantic heavy freighters would be too bulky and slow, medium freighters fill the gap, with their perfect balance of capacity and agility. Medium freighters often sail in groups, usually escorted by several warships to ensure their safety.
Ships like this form the backbone of the war against the Fleet, supplying the front lines with ammo, food, and spare parts.

Three different states for the cargo hold have been built to show its versatility.
