I FINALLY GOT THIS OUT NUUUUEHHGHHHHHHHHHGHHGHGHG NOW I CAN GET ON WITH MY LIFE
WARNING: BEAMS ARE INCREDIBLY NOISY- HUNDREDS OF EXPLOSION NOISES GO OFF EVERY SECOND
yes this one has tech although i limited the range of the beams to spare your worlds if your computers are frail
yes this stuff is powerful and you guys haven't seen it before but i don't care about tech secrecy right now
weapons only work if the shields are offline because :(((((((((((((((((((( i've found a way around it but i can't really be bothered to fix it
do not fly the reticule inside your ship or there will be blood
i'm also not sure what happens if you have multiple of these on the same world, if the beams are set to different directions it'll definitely be bad though
i'm also not going to tell you how to fly it, just that it's recommended that you have multiple people- one spotting targets and the other deploying the beams
STATS
Attack rating: 6/10
Defence rating: 2/10
Speed rating: 2/10
Class: Beam Corvette (BF)
Usage: Anticapital
Commissioned ships:
MSS-BF1 Purgatory Janitor
MSS-BF2 Spilt Infinities
MSS-BF3 Speaker's Eyes
Dims: 83x31x16
Weapons: Sublimation Beam, HF Turret
Shields: 6x Aura of Denial
Armour: Obsidian lattice in parts, endstone heatsinks
Engines: 5 Vacuum Opacity Cells
Power sources: Not required
Max acceleration: 100G enabled by vacuum opacity
Carried vessels: None
Crew: 6
Summary: Fast light capital ship able to engage multiple much larger foes simultaneously
BACKGROUND
Designed to counter much larger foes without spending much resources, the Aries showcases Kyremian laser technology for the first time (Sorry to break it to you guys, but I've had this for quite a while now). Beams "pin" enemies by denying them movement for fear of damaging their ship, and can be deployed separately to pin many enemy ships in position. Once the enemies' movement has been prohibited, other ships can fire at the forced-static vessels like sniping sitting ducks. In regular combat, the Aries can slice enemy ships by moving its beams pre-deployment with a high accuracy. (see obsidian smiley face screenshot)

yeah my excuse for not explaining it is that maybe someone will figure out a cooler way to use it than i did
it's super rewarding when you get something really complicated working
