This is my Art Deco House, inspired by a real (albeit dilapidated) building in Detroit, Michigan. There are many buildings such as this left to crumble in Detroit, which is a shame because some are really beautiful examples of architecture from the city's high point in history. Actually, throughout the midwest and eastern US there are many homes that where once stunning but for many reasons left to decay. I like to think of brighter times when the original owners took pride in their home. In the very least, I have in some way preserved this home in my own fashion via a Minecraft rendition.
