This is the city of Atlantis, which sadly no longer exists. The server which it was created on was reset and Atlantis was lost forever, kind of fitting.
The city has a market place, two gardens with wheat, melon, pumpkin, and sugar cane, 8 small standard size homes, and three larger ones. The central tower houses the rules of conduct and the central offices, and in the back atop everything was my mansion. After completion I had moved my home to the city.
The city was built stacked upon itself. Three different levels, each connecting to the central tower, created more room. Almost everything was placed by hand, except the large quantities of water that covered the entire city, and a few material changes were done with WorldEdit.
The server was flat and you could only go 8 blocks down before hitting the void so I built a stone cylinder 48 blocks tall and 120 blocks in diameter. The dome covering the entire city was all glass and 100 blocks in diameter.
I used sandstone and lapis luzi to get a more Atlantian feel, pulling inspiration from Greece.
