Level 15 : Journeyman Explorer

Its an automated minecart system, it works by calling a minecart with a pressure plate, and whenever you get in the minecart it automatically sends you down the railroad. you can also select what your destination is via a switch. There will be two platforms, currently only one of the actually works. The building itself is nearing completion but has alot of unfinished parts.

The video shows the underbelly of the system and it actually working.

Its only my 2nd attempt at a railway system so its a bit dodgy. Will upload an MCedit file whenever its finished. Enjoy!

no it uses a standard minecart perpetual motion machine. You stand on a plate and it releases the cart from the motion machine. it grabs a cart from a hopper and sends it up to the platform. the motion machine cart is held in a side motion machine until you step off the plate, then it gets returned to the engine (so that you only call one cart per stomp on the pressure plate). The cart lands on a stone pressure plate (which only activates if a player or mob character stands on it). When you get it the cart (and activate the plate) it does the same process again but uses the second released cart as a booster for the first one.
