This map is based off of the battle of Groningen which took place from April 14 to April 18 of 1945, right near the end of the war in Europe. The battle saw fierce fighting in the streets and resulted in an Allied victory.
The assault force was comprised of the 9 battalions of the 2nd Canadian Infantry Division. The assault was split into three main sections with each section having 3 battalions in each of them. The map that I have built follows the 6th brigade's path through the central part of the city. That is why the map is streamlined and not widened.
The map requires the CTB2 mod. It can be found here: ctb2.com

Blew up a bunch of buildings and added rubble. Planning on expanding map back about 70 blocks to add an outskirts section.
