Anchors aweigh!
Roughly a year and a half ago, September 2018, I laid down the keel with the intent of much a Queen Mary style ship. Then the hull was erected and the tank top laid. Soon after those were complete I laid a block marking each deck A-G + H (Crew Deck) + Power Plant Deck. The engine room, propeller shaft, boilers and there respected rooms, coal bunks, lowest cargo hold, and bulkheads (which by the way most go up to D Deck) were added. From then, I took many months off not touching Minecraft at all. So many hours went into just the hull that I said to myself I need a break.
Fast forward to December 2019, and I found myself laying H and G Deck, working on the cargo holds, mail hold, post office, boiler+engine room ventilation, and Third Class cabins. The stern's hull was also torn down and resurrected 3 times before it looked sexy and sleek. Soon it just kept coming together and now Jan. 31 2020, I'm at D Deck and I've made it to what I consider the halfway point., in the construction... I don't see this taking another year.
Please enjoy, J.
