You existence on your floating island was quite the peaceful one. That is, until...IT, came to visit. You awoke one morning to find that there was a strange object on the other side of the island, and that some strange materials formed near it. You closely watched it for days, weeks, months even. But it must've been smart. It never grew, until the one day you took your eyes off of it.

At the break of dusk, it began to grow, spreading to the grass, the stone, and the trees. Mushrooms grew in the dark, and strange plants grew on the blighted land. By daybreak the island had progressed to the state it is in now, partially infected by this strange disease. Not too much seemed to be wrong with it, until you found a cave entrance that wasn't there earlier. You enter, and find an altar with three other pathways. Exploration of two of them proved fruitless, as they ended in holes to the ground below.

However, there was a third, seemingly untouched passage. You enter, everything seeming normal. But then you notice an odd white stony substance on the walls, and it grew more prominent as you went deeper. Eventually you come to the edge of a pool that seemed to be filled with the vacuum of space. It appeared as if the cosmos liquefied and poured itself into that hole. Seeing no other way to stop this, you jump in and hope for the best...

The texture pack I used was, fittingly, Blight Stump. Single Player Commands was used to create the End Portal.
