Once the largest and most advanced colony vessel in the solar system, the Destiny class medium transport is now little more than an average liner running regular routs from Earth to Jupiter. Built between 2161 and 2167 as a new line of transport vessels to aid in the construction of colonies throughout the system.
Falling out of service after 2172 in favor of newer and larger vessels. Scheduled to be broken up in 2176 they were instead purchased by Acquarone Line in December 2175 and reactivated to help transport thousands of refugees off earth. They reentered regular service in 2201 as medium capacity vessels for the line. Much like the ocean liners of old the ships are far from height of luxury, they do however get people where they need to go.
