This giant robot was built as a defense mechanism for villagers. However, it started malfunctioning, and now they need a strong warrior to defeat it. Are you up to the challenge?
This complex creation features three special attacks, minion spawning, melee and ranged combat, and of course, no creation would be complete without explosives. Good luck.
As of 28 July, this project is completely finished, and as far as I know, free of bugs. If you find a problem in the battle, mechanics, etc., please PM me so that I can look into it and release a new update if necessary. If you've defeated the boss before, I recommend trying again since, as of this new update, the difficulty has increased a bit.

At last, the Grand Update for the Villager Guardian has been completed - Command Block Implementation.
Now that I've finally been successful in implementing the Command Block structure that I wanted to use, I've been able to stomp out the remaining bugs and make the entire design more efficient and slightly more difficult as well.
There is a good chance that this will be the last update to this project unless more bugs are found, so I've made this one the best one yet. Read below for the details.

Updates
=> Changed Command Block names from "GUARDIAN" to " GUARDIAN " to make the text bar easily legible during battle.
=> Changed Guardian's dialog to be more machine-themed.
=> Changed minion spawning mechanic to spawn minions on a timer with a 2/9 chance per approx. 2 seconds instead of when multiple targets have been hit.
=> Made boss's health a scoreboard objective for faster healthbar updates and cleaner damage.
=> Gave the Guardian 2 extra health, making his new maximum 14.
=> Completed the circuitry halt during a player's death, so that the entire battle stops until the player re-enters the arena.
=> Slightly modified the opening dialog.
=> Changed Guardian's dialog to be more machine-themed.
