Here is my entry for the Chunk Challenge Contest hosted by PlanetMinecraft. It is a typical floating island with a steam-punk style gear and redstone tower that provides power for the whole of Hedixia, a floating town. (Not included in project.) Enjoy!


Built by the elves of Hedixia, this Power station is the only one of its kind, feeding off out steam, redstone power, and pure energy itself. The cracks in its side draw in heat from the mighty sun. It's structure, tall, but durable, is very special as well. It was created with the intention of absorbing solar energy and using the heat to melt water and send the steam through the structure, powering the redstone, where the energy is scaped off and stored. For years now, this mighty structure has kept the elvish steampunk city of Hedixia powered.
