I started creating the terrain like a small island, and the environment was based then on the nordic grasslands. The village is likely based on the old Danish viking fortresses; Trelleborg and Fyrkat.

It contains of a market with 8 houses/shops with each of their own specialities. I use the Item Frame as a sort of sign to show what to buy inside. You can freely use the Idea as well as I did ;)

There is also 12 houses, which are used for living and can protect you from the wild life at night.

The village has a Town Hall, which is the largest of the houses - Inside there is the INN-Keeper and the Chief of the Cliffdale also lives in there. (It sound a little familiar to Thunder Bluff from WoW) Beside the Townhall did I place the Chapel, the local church.

The workers works mostly as farmers, blacksmiths, tailors and miners. The Miners Guild is a shop that supports and works with the miners to get all the minerals from the mines to the surface - connected to The Miners Guild is an entrance to the mine.
