Hey, everyone.
I'm remaking (again) my Clock Town replica map. This will be my third attempt at recreating this memorable hub from the 2000 classic, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
This time, I believe to have the proportions accurate, using Link as a reference for the player pawn. In Majora's Mask, it is assumed that link is roughly 4' tall, while the player pawn in Minecraft is 2 meters. Without going into complicated measurement exchanges or mathematics, I simply began making the world as if the player pawn was the same height as Link. As a result, the world seems extremely large in first person, however, due to Link being in third person, the world does not seem quite as massive. In fact, the camera in MM hovers roughly 6' (roughly 2 meters) above the ground, thus using third person in Minecraft should immerse the player into believing the scale between games is accurate and consistent.
On to the notes.
So far, the map requires (expressed as "- "):
North Clock Town
- Deku Training Grounds
South Clock Town
- East wall decals/graffiti
East Clock Town
- Shooting Range
- Treasure Chest Shop
- Mayor's Residence
- Bomber's Hideout
West Clock Town
- Lottery Shop
- Post Office
- Sword Training School
- Bomb Shop
- Trading Post
- Curiosity Shop
Laundry Pool
- Curiosity Shop Backroom
