So ive been looking around for a long time at all kinds of spaceship builds.
Ive done alot of other large scale flying ships, castles, etc, but never anything realistic or something that actually looks cool.
Anyways I got permission from the original art author to build this here replica, to scale, of a combat space frigate.
Its only about 5% done, as Im still working on building the outer shell, before I go back and worry about interiors.
Its a daunting task for me, and is going to be my first ever space ship type project.
As you can see from the pictures, I have the VERY front of the ship built, and will be working my way back to the engines/wings.
Any critic or insight would be nice.
EDIT: I have finished the first half of the shell, and with a friend we have started working on the interiors some, as he is helping out with redstone wiring and what not.

oh and what texture pack did you use?
yea the sides of the ship are flat for the moment because im trying to stick to the original artwork, and i dont see too many projections on the sides of the ship in the artwork.
im sure i will go back and add various things though to the sides later on.
i will be uploading interior views soon as well. the interiors are very under construction, and are basically prelim for the moment. many of the walls and floors are built in haste, and not final block types. i will be uploading a pic of the massive reaction chambers as well, but those also are all under construction, as Ryken is busy doing remodeling, and redstone wiring.
yes i realized after looking at the original artwork, that ive unknowingly increased the ship size by about 3 times.
