I got the idea for these kind of buildings in Minecraft 1.6, I had zombe's Mod pack so I used it to make the layers of glowstone, cobble and glass eventually constructing a tower. I am soon going to make a second tower by using world edit/ MC edit.

Correct. The only program allowed is MCEdit, to a certain point, and you can't place .schematics made prior to the contest on the map either, everything must be built from scratch

You can't put something you've made on a different map onto the Contest map.
You'll have to rebuild it on the Contest Map
