We live in a world where sea level rise is a definite fact that will have an impact on future generations. I thought it would be fitting to create a futuristic map to highlight rising sea levels, although raising environmental awareness was not quite the goal I had in mind while building.

Initially, I did not intend to create such an exotic structure; I was interested in getting practice on modern builds, something beyond my building comfort zone. The key word I kept in mind while building was "skyscraper", but I'm not surprised that I took it beyond a simple high-rise, and put some background into the build.

Side notes

Following the lore, all water to energy conversion takes place at the base of the tower. The tower is actually just for cooling.

Within the download ZIP file, I have included a version of the world without the surrounding ring/deck. I found that this looked much cleaner and put larger emphasis on the tower.
