M.C. Doe is a mystery writer that uses real life mysteries to inspire their works. While looking for inspiration for their next novel, Doe receives a strange letter. The letter is plain, unsigned, with no postage stamp. It appears to have been dropped in the mailbox by hand. The letter tells of a place called the Montner Estate and an old mystery surrounding it. Apparently many years ago, the entire family, as well as the house staff, vanished. No traces were ever found, though no one was able to search for long. The Estate is said to drive people mad. Intrigued, Doe sets out for the Montner family home in search of a mystery and maybe a solution to an age old tale. What they find is a perfectly preserved house and grounds with no one around...except maybe the occasional ghost.
Search the house and grounds for clues and piece together what happened. You may just discover the truth behind the disappearances at the Montner Estate.
This is a single-player mystery story map. There is no parkour or any complicated puzzles to solve. Just follow the clues to solve the mystery.
I used the Mansion of Madness house I uploaded previously as a starting point, but I have added quite a bit to it. I do highly recommend that you use the resource pack AND the mods that I used for this map. If you don’t use all of them, some things will look odd or be missing completely. You will not be able to complete the story without them as well.
I am aware that this is a lot of extra for a map; however, I found these mods to be well made and very useful. I felt that they, and their creators, should be appreciated and get the attention that they deserve.

stuff is just dropped on the ground like that, many blocks missing. the resourcepack doesn't help
