Some years back, I had a strange story-like dream that I actually remember to this day down to the detail [which is strange in itself]. It played based in a Minecraft game and a bunch of things happened that eventually lead to this cottage.

I was looking for Killer Rabbits back when they were a random spawn instead of a tagged-only spawn, and the map looked awfully familiar to me. Going back to the original spawnpoint, I was able to re-enact the dream's story path to this little glade, nestled in a Black Forest biome and well-hidden.

After the Great Microsoft Crisis of Spring 2013 in which I lost everything, including the original cottage map, I was ecstatic and promptly rebuilt down to the detail. Unfortunately, I can't keep the waterwheel moving [there was huge emphasis about keeping the waterwheel going for whatever reason], and that I can't without mods makes me slightly uneasy. Despite this detail, everything is to the letter, vanilla, and still as hand-built [if more simple than some of my other projects] as ever.

It took a little bit to convince myself I wanted to give this one away as a free map. It almost wasn't, since it has significance to me. But this little cottage inspired and still inspires me on many occasions to build and build, despite the odds. So maybe it will help someone else with a block, too.
