This honey bottle farm can be operated with a single glass bottle, if need be. For normal operation you can put in 11 stacks and 48 bottles 8 stacks of bottles (the book in the world download is incorrect) without risking an overflow of the lower barrel and hopper. You can add more, if the lower barrel gets emptied by a hopper.

How to set it up for operation:
After building it, put a single bottle into the dispenser (which is pointing downwards) above the hive. Put the rest of the bottles into the upper barrel.

How it works:
A full hive will turn on the redstone lamp and the observer will trigger the dispenser, collecting the honey. This turns off the comparator and the redstone lamp, resulting in a second pulse to the dispenser, which ejects the honey bottle into the hive and into the lower hopper from there. Just after that action is completed, the original redstone signal has traveled through the delay line and triggers the hopper once, refilling the dispenser. The farm is now ready to pick up the next load of honey.
