Hello everyone!
It's been a while, but I have good news! I have returned to shipbuilding, and I would like to present, as a special surprise, my first ever Collaborative build!
This ship was done on Fleetweek, and it wasnt until recently that I was able to produce a schematic for it.
My friend Andrin was interested in building airships after seeing my collection, so I volunteered to help him build one. With my help and guidance, Andrin and I managed to build this. Andrin is responsible for about 90% of the work on this one. I only provided general guidance and tips on decor, plus some tweaking on the exterior hull structure.
I have to say, I am extremely impressed with the result. As this was not only his first airship but also my first collaboration, the ideas that came to life on this ship have further influenced me to experiment with new hull and sail designs.
The ship is called the Etherwind. She's modeled after the skyship Weatherlight from the Magic The Gathering series, mixed with a hull style derived from ancient Greek Triremes. Andrin came up with the idea to use an enchanting table as the focal point of the command bridge, implying that this airship runs on magic power. This is accentuated by the lines of "Ether cable" (redstone wire) that run all through the ship's interior. The Etherwind doesnt look too big from the outside, but it was shocking the amount of space Andrin created to work with on the ship's interior. The ship has 4 decks, from top to bottom: Command Deck, Main Deck, Crew Deck, and Engineering. A large staircase connects the decks together, centered around the support strut for the ship's main topsail. The Main deck features both a fore and aft exterior observation balcony, a ship's galley, and various tables/workstations. There is probably room to create another cabin directly across from the galley, if so desired. The Crew deck features 4 crew cabins with space for at least 12-16 crewmembers, and directly forward of the crew cabins is an extrememly spacious second deck featuring dual banks of cannons and a cargo storage area. The engineering level features a gigantic piston engine (that actually works!) meant to simulate running the spiral propeller on the outside. Lastly, Andin added a grand interior observation area covered in glass attached into the lower side of the hull on the bottom deck, so as to survey the land that the ship is flying over.
Overall, one of the more fun projects I've worked on, learning to share and build ideas with friends is very exciting!
I hope you all enjoy this ship as much as I do!

*** UPDATE ***
Due to recent theft of my work by certain servers, I am removing all schematics of my vessels for personal security until further notice.
