Hello all. Was pretty excited to do this build. The Euclid R210 had a empty weight of 250,000 lbs, and was powered by a 1,850 hp gas turbine engine, running on jet fuel. The turbine powered a generator, which ran the DC motors for the wheels. The truck could haul 210 tons of rock at a time.

The R210 met a premature end when the turbine ‘flamed out’ (self destructed). Causing all power to be lost, and no brakes, or steering. Running away uncontrollably. The massively heavy machine brushed aside a smaller haul truck like a toy, after running clean over and flattening a Caterpillar road grader, and then a bucket truck, before coming to a stop from the wheels being fouled up from the equipment it ran over .Amazingly everyone involved managed to get out of the way and no one was hurt
