There's a beauty to simplicity. Sometimes one needs to go back to the basics, and gain a new perspective from doing that.

That is exactly what I did here.

I have been absent from the Minecraft building scene for years now, and a contest like this seemed like such a perfect starting point for my return.

A home interior, It seems so simple, and in truth, it may be, but simple doesn't mean ugly, by no means. I'm a fairly old fashioned builder, I can admit that. My technique stays more conservative, similar to the builds of my time, but again, I still feel my almost outdated technique still holds true, but the judges will decide that.

Interior - With this project, I created a home that I myself would want to live in, a home that feels comforting. The living areas are fitted almost entirely with dark wood, giving a closed in and cozy feel. the dark wood contrast with the bright orange of the outside. The interior gives off the feeling of being in a deep forest, while still feeling modern in style.

Exterior - The outside feels lived in, with a contrast between the clean cut grass and the lush overgrowth. It's simple, but it works, and attempts to feel natural all the same.

Now why the name "Euphonic". I could try and convince you that it's to bring light to the pleasant charm of the simplicity that brings images of a pleasing song, but in all honesty I just like that word.
