Get ready to be plunged into a world of harsh realities and stranger-still custom content in one of the hardest survival challenges created.
Set in a modified nether, this map begins with Imprisonment and Exile. The reason isn’t clear, and is only one of the many mysteries of this map. Other than the few useful bits of scenery, the only other feature of the prison is a strange doorway, which emits haunting sounds.
With no other options left, you travel through, and the Adventure begins!
This is a survival and puzzle map. Along with the survival challenge, you'll find There is an intricate backstory and a reason for your imprisonment. And you’ve been given the tools to uncover it. But first, of course, you need to worry about basic survival.
Adventuring is a big part of this map, which has loads of custom content and strange places built into it. Brave the dangerous terrain of the nether and explore frequently to uncover the many hidden secrets and destinations. See ancient ruins, strange puzzles, cryptic symbols, and more on your journeys. Each discovery will give you more pieces of the puzzle and additional survival supplies to increase your well-being.
But ultimately, beyond the unique survival experience that this map offers, you’ll find a strange and gripping story uncovered through a series of stranger-still puzzles. What is this place? Where did the ruins come from and where are the inhabitants now? And most importantly, why were you Exiled here in the first place? All this and more will be revealed to those who seek and unlock the mysteries of Exiled. And you are in for a long ride if you want to beat this map.

**SPECIAL NOTE: Many players have found this challenge extremely difficult. I believe it is one of the hardest and most unique survival experiences out on the market today. Due to player requests, the default download now has keepInventory, but is designed so that you will lose your xp levels and get some negative potion effects upon death as a small penalty.
This map is supported by command blocks. If you play on a server please enable them. Also do not change the map to peaceful otherwise some mechanics/mobs that are critical to the map may be removed. Hope you enjoy!

I have taken into account everyone's suggestions including the balanced views of the three teams that I know of that fully beat the map.
The changelog is as follows:
- dozens of new items make the loot from all areas less underwhelming. A lot of the loot in Exiled is purely aesthetic and not terribly useful to the player since these are old ruins, however, players expressed interest in getting more for their exploration so I've obliged. Items are still in nether theme though so you won't find much iron or diamond.
- 2 new unique items: tattered tome and battering stick make fighting pigman swarms a bit easier
- 2 new ruins were created
- 1 new mystery machine was added that can be utilized if you figure out how it works
- paths and directional hints were added to the harder-to-find areas making the game easier to explore and complete
- new subtle clues were added, aiding in the final puzzle-solving
Not all ruins are needed to beat the map, but all are fun to find and have useful items so try to find them all! Message me privately if you need hints
